The planned canopy was to have been covered with copper sheeting, the under-construction of iron/timber. Dimensions: 22m long, 2.6m deep. Despite a great deal of effort and numerous changes by Karl Vonmetz the architects and the local council could not reach an agreement. The council's coat-of-arms was mounted on the school's facade.
