Franz Kapfer
Lives and works in Vienna. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. He was a participant in the 5th Biennale Gherdëina 2016, the Kiev Biennale 2015, the Busan Biennale 2012 and, in the context of Franz West's Extroversion, the 54th Biennale di Venezia 2011. His artistic practice is always about an analysis of political culture. Based on small and very concrete structures, he rolls up ruling conditions and examines their imageability with regard to major topics such as authority and oppression in political and religious systems.
